• Equipment Operations & Monitoring: Directly responsible for actively operating, constantly monitoring, and supervising massive turbine, generator, and boiler equipment at the plant site. Handling high-voltage isolation, normalisation, and all other related start-up/shutdown activities safely.
• Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Proactively identifying, diagnosing, and troubleshooting any immediate technical problems or anomalies pertaining to the mechanical and electrical equipment on-site to minimize expensive downtime.
• Safety Compliance: Ensuring that all hazardous industrial safety procedures are being strictly followed by ground staff. Rigid compliance with all operational regulations, environmental guidelines, and SOPs must be maintained at all times.
• Shift Operations: Due to the 24/7 nature of power generation, candidates will be required to work in demanding rotating shifts, specifically including extensive night shifts.
• Deployment: The initial posting shall be at any of the designated Stations / Projects / JVs / Subsidiaries of NTPC across India. Furthermore, all posts are completely transferable at the sole discretion of the Management based on skill matching and project needs.

• Fixed Remuneration: Candidates will receive a highly lucrative Fixed Monthly Consolidated Amount of ₹ 55,000/- without any performance-based deductions.

• Stage I: Application Shortlisting & Screening: To logically restrict the number of candidates for the further selection process, the management reserves the absolute right to conduct initial intensive screening. • Stage II: Written / Computer-Based Test (CBT): Depending heavily on the volume of screened candidates, a multi-stage selection process may be activated involving a comprehensive written or computer-based test evaluating technical, mechanical, and operational acumen.
• Stage III: Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates from the previous screening/testing stages will be summoned for an exhaustive Personal Interview evaluating their on-site problem-solving skills, behavioral fitness, and domain knowledge. Final selection may be a combination of the CBT scores and the interview performance.
• Health & Medical Examination: The candidate must possess impeccable sound health. Before joining, shortlisted candidates will absolutely have to undergo an exhaustive medical examination at any of the designated NTPC hospitals. The decision of the medical board will be final and binding. Absolutely no relaxation in the prescribed health standards will be allowed.
