The ESIC General Hospital, Naroda operates this recruitment primarily through a "rolling advertisement" model. This means the vacancies will be actively pursued until suitable candidates are found and engaged.

3. Eligibility Criteria (Age & Education)

To maintain the highest standards of medical care, ESIC strictly enforces comprehensive eligibility criteria based on academic qualifications and professional medical experience. All applicants must meet these criteria strictly as on the date of the interview.

A. Senior Resident (3 Years Scheme)

• Maximum Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years as on the date of the interview.
• Essential Qualification: MBBS combined with a PG Degree / DNB / Diploma in the concerned specialty from Government-recognized universities or colleges.
• Registration Requirement: Must be registered with the Gujarat Medical Council or the National Medical Commission (NMC). If registered in another state, the candidate must register themselves with the Gujarat Medical Council strictly at the time of joining.
• Restriction: Applicants who have already completed 3 years of Senior Residency in any government hospital are fundamentally ineligible to apply under this specific residency scheme.

B. Full Time Specialist (FTS) & Part Time Specialist (PTS)

• Maximum Age Limit: Age must not exceed 69 years as on the date of the interview.
• Essential Qualification: MBBS + PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university.
• Mandatory Experience: Candidates must possess 3 years of experience after acquiring the Post Graduate Degree, OR 5 years of experience after acquiring the Post Graduate Diploma.
• Registration Requirement: Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council.

Age Relaxation Policy: The reservation and age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH categories is applicable entirely as per Central Government rules. The candidates must produce valid original certificates in the prescribed Government of India format to claim these benefits.

4. Salary, Remuneration & Work Hours

Leave Entitlement: Senior Residents are entitled to 2.5 leaves per working month. Full-Time Specialists are entitled to 4 days of leave for each month of work. If the FTS prefers not to avail the leave, it can be encashed to a maximum limit of 30 days per year.

Candidates must pay a nominal, non-refundable application fee at the time of the walk-in interview. The payment is accepted exclusively via Demand Draft.

Demand Draft Details: The DD of Rs. 300/- should be drawn in favor of "ESIC Fund Account No.-1" and must be payable at Ahmedabad. Candidates must bring this DD directly to the interview venue.

6. Selection Process & Logistics

The mode of selection relies fundamentally on the candidate's professional background and their performance during the personal walk-in interview.

• Document Verification: Candidates must report strictly at 09:00 AM at the Conference Hall (1st Floor) of ESIC General Hospital, Naroda. The administration will rigorously verify the original certificates concerning age, educational qualifications, attempt attempts, mark sheets, degree, NMC/State MC Registration, and experience certificates.
• Personal Interview: Following successful document verification, candidates will proceed to the interview panel. The medical superintendent and the constituted committee will evaluate the candidate's clinical expertise and suitability for the role.
• Security Deposit: Upon selection, candidates must pay Rs. 30,000/- (Thirty thousand rupees only) as a Security Deposit (for Specialists) to execute an agreement on a Rs. 100/- Non-Judicial Stamp paper at the time of official joining.
• No TA/DA: The corporation will not reimburse any Travelling Allowance (TA) or Dearness Allowance (DA) for attending the interview or for the joining purpose.
• Accommodation: The ESIC hospital will not provide hostel accommodation or quarters for the selected contractual medical staff.
