Job Description
- To teach and provide academic support to the academic programs of the School of Skill Education.

3. Eligibility Criteria (Education & Experience)
The eligibility criteria for the Assistant Professor position strictly adhere to UGC standards.
A. Core Educational Requirement
- A Master's degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in Social Sciences / Social Work/Related fields from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
B. Additional Eligibility (A OR B)
Condition A:
- The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET.
- OR Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations (2009 or 2016) are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
- Special Note for Pre-2009 Ph.D. registrations: Candidates registered for Ph.D. prior to July 11, 2009, shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET subject to the fulfillment of specific conditions (regular mode Ph.D., evaluated by two external examiners, open viva voce, two research papers published, and two paper presentations). The fulfillment of these conditions must be certified by the Registrar or the Dean of the concerned University.
- Note: NET/SLET/SET shall not be required for Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.
OR Condition B:
- The Ph.D. degree has been obtained from a foreign university/institution with a ranking among the top 500 in the World University Ranking (at any time) by QS, THE, or ARWU.
