A. Educational Qualifications

• Engineering Posts: Requires a regular/full-time B.E/B.Tech or Diploma in the respective discipline (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Mining, etc.) from recognized Universities/Institutes.
• Management & Admin Posts: Requires Graduation/Post-Graduation/MBA/PGDM in relevant specializations (HR, Marketing, Finance).
• Safety & Quality Posts: Requires relevant degrees/diplomas along with specific certifications (e.g., NDT Level-2, Industrial Fire & Safety).

B. Post Qualification Experience

The required post-qualification experience varies significantly based on the designation level applied for:

• Additional Engineer/Executive: Typically requires 9 to 15 years of robust industrial experience.
• Deputy Engineer/Executive: Requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Assistant Engineer/Executive: Requires a minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
• Engineer (Safety): Requires an extensive 16 years of hands-on safety execution experience.

C. Upper Age Limit

The maximum upper age limit for applying across all post codes is set at 50 Years as on the cut-off date (23.03.2026). Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories (3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, and up to 15 years for PwD) as per Government of India norms.

Additional Benefits

• Site/Metro Allowance: Employees posted at site locations receive a Site Allowance of 7.5% of pay, whereas Metro locations offer a 2.5% Metro Allowance.
• Annual Increment: An annual increment of 3% on the consolidated pay.
• Medical Facilities: Access to OPD/IPD treatments at Ispat Hospital (for Ranchi postings) or free consultations via company retainer doctors elsewhere. Additionally, reimbursement of up to ₹15,000 per year towards a ₹4 Lakh floater Mediclaim policy.
• Accommodation: Company quarters based on availability, or 5% HRA if accommodation is not availed.
• Leaves: 12 days Casual Leave, 18 days Earned Leave, and 14 days Half Pay Leave annually.

• Travel Allowance (TA): Outstation candidates eligible for the interview will be reimbursed TA (up to III Tier A/C or CC rail fare) subject to the production of valid tickets.
• Final Merit: The selection panel's decision regarding the final merit list and subsequent job postings will be absolute and binding.
