The North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Folk Medicine Research (NEIAFMR), an autonomous institute operating under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, has released a comprehensive recruitment notification (Advt. 2. Application Fee Details
The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid strictly via a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of "Director, NEIAFMR, Pasighat", payable at Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh. Note: Candidates applying through Deputation are fully exempted from fee payment.

4. Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
A. Teaching Posts (Ayurveda)
- Professor / Associate / Assistant Professor: Must possess a Post Graduate Degree in Ayurveda in the relevant subject recognized under IMCC Act/NCISM Act. Extensive teaching/research experience and index journal publications are mandatory depending on the specific rank.
B. Medical Officers & Specialists
- Pathologist / Pediatrician / Radiologist etc: Requires an MBBS degree from a recognized University, alongside a Post Graduate degree in the concerned specialty. Registration with MCI/State Council and 3 years of post-PG experience is strictly required.
- Resident Medical Officer: MD/MS (Ayurveda) in specific clinical subjects recognized by CCIM/NCISM.
C. Administrative & Assistant Posts
- Senior Assistant: Bachelor's degree with a typing speed of 35 WPM in English (or 30 WPM in Hindi) and proficiency in MS-Office.
- Panchakarma Assistant: 10+2 passed from a recognized board coupled with a 1-year certificate course in Panchakarma.
5. How to Apply Offline
The application process for NEIAFMR Recruitment is strictly offline. Follow the steps below to ensure your application is accepted.
- Download Proforma: Download the official application proforma (Annexure-I) from the official website neiafmr.org.in.
- Fill Details: Fill in your personal, educational, and employment details accurately. Affix a recent passport-size photograph on the top right corner and sign across it.
- Prepare Demand Draft: Obtain a DD for the requisite application fee (based on your category and group applied for) payable at Pasighat. Write your name, category, and post applied for on the back of the DD.
- Attach Documents: Attach self-attested photocopies of all educational certificates, experience testimonials, and caste certificates (if applicable). Do NOT send original certificates.
- For Serving Employees: Applicants currently employed in Govt/Autonomous bodies must route their application "Through Proper Channel" and include the No Objection Certificate (Annexure-II) and attested APAR dossiers.
- Super Scribe Envelope: The main envelope must be boldly super-scribed with: "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF [Post Name], Sl. No. [X]".
