SSC JE Paper 2 & SSC CHSL tier 2 exam date, information for scribe users

If you are preparing for the SSC JE or CHSL exams in April 2026, the Staff Selection Commission has released a very important schedule you need to follow to get your exam details and admit cards.

1.Key Dates for Your Exams

Instead of checking the website every day, mark these specific dates on your calendar to find out where your exam center is and to download your official entry pass:

2.Big Changes for Scribe Users

If you require a scribe (someone to help you write), there are new mandatory rules you must follow to ensure they are allowed into the exam hall:

• Fresh Registration is Required: Any scribe registration done before November 5, 2025, has been deleted. Your scribe must register again from scratch.
• Aadhaar is Mandatory: All scribes must now verify their identity using Aadhaar Authentication on the SSC website.
• Age Limits: The Commission has updated the policy regarding the maximum age for scribes, so check the original exam notice to ensure your helper qualifies.

3.Strict Deadlines to “Map” Your Scribe

Simply registering your scribe is not enough. You must link (or “map”) their registration number to your own application by these strict deadlines, or a Scribe Entry Pass will not be issued:

• JE Candidates: Must map by April 3, 2026 (11:00 PM).
• CHSL Candidates: Must map by April 5, 2026 (11:00 PM).

4.What to do if something is wrong?

If there is a mistake on your Admit Card or Scribe Pass, do not panic. The rules stated in the original exam notices (from June 2025) are the final authority. You should refer back to those documents to resolve any confusion.
